In this video we take you to all of our stops in France. 1st stop Bordeaux with some amazing venues including a submarine basin turned art installation! It was so cool….wait till you see it!
We spent a week at an Airbnb in Chartres about 30 miles from Paris. The week was so pleasant just enjoying the old town, visiting outdoor markets, exploring shops, pastries and historic sites. Our Airbnb was so nice…we made a few dinners in the little kitchen….the owner was so nice…
On our way east we spent a day in Paris and we able to tour the newly renovated Notre Dame!
Next we take a fast train from Paris to Strasbourg in just 2 hours! This town had a lot of tourists and people in general. Interesting to have the French/Swiss/German influences in every way. We took a canal boat tour, visiting a wine cellar beneath the hospital and explore the stunning cathedral!
Our last stop in France, Colmar…another French/Swiss/German area. We did have some rainy weather that made exploring difficult, but we had a great time, regardless.
Next up on our adventures in Europe…Switzerland!
