eBikes and Chincoteague!

On our way back to Virginia after Colonial Airstream and a short visit in Rehoboth Beach, we stopped in Chincoteague Island.  We were there two days and spent a lot of time on the eBikes.   The island is small and most all of the streets have bike lanes…Chincoteague National Wildlife Refuge has miles of bike trails.  We rode between 30-35 miles over two days ; we love the Lectric eBikes.   We did see some wild Chincoteague Horses, they were visible but far away, I did not have the zoom camera to take decent pictures…but at least we saw…

A day at Bombay Hook National Wildlife Refuge!

While in Rehoboth Beach with Susan & Atom, we spent the day at Bombay Hook National Wildlife Refuge in search of Roseate Spoonbills!  Two of these special birds had been spotted in the refuge but we could not find them! Pikes Peak, Wow!

While in Colorado Springs, we drove to the top of Pikes Peak. Yes, we drove the Ford F-250 Diesel Truck (the workhorse).  It seems that human nature makes one more anxious and afraid when you are a passenger!  Carol drove up and I drove down; we both were unhinged when the passenger!!! 🤣.   When we arrived at the top, 14,115 ft above sea level, there was a new visitor center!  Construction was still going on in the parking lots but we were able to park and experience the beautiful surroundings. At this elevation the air is truly thin and…
