Morro Bay, Wineries and California Highway 1!

We left Malibu and drove 2 hours North to Morro Bay known for Morro Rock an ancient Volcanic plug at the entrance of the harbor. Morro Rock is one of nine in a line of similar plugs called the nine sisters.

The town is a very cute fishing town with many restaurants and shops along the harbor.  We stayed at Morro Beach State Park located on the South end of the harbor.

Our first day we met Brent and Krista in Paso Robles to visit 3 wineries…we met Brent and Krista in Borrego Springs. We had a blast hanging out for the day!

The rest of our time in the area we spent exploring beaches and the Scenic Highway 1!  Wow, what a ride…simply beautiful.

Enjoy the Video!

Travel Update:

Next stop Monterey, Carmel, Big Sur and Pinnacles National Park!  We then will be leaving the California Coast and will be heading to Sequoia National Park and Yosemite!
