What a day of fun! There is nothing like spending the day off the beaten path! We spent the day exploring Dixie National Forest on the edge of Bryce Canyon National Park on a UTV. We knew that there were ATV/UTV trails, but had no idea there is an entire road system with numbers and junctions….duh….makes sense. We traveled on the Paunsaugunt Plateau Trail System. We spent the day in Bryce Canyon riding eBikes, hiking and spent the evening at the Rodeo! We rented eBikes from “Outta Here eBikes located on Route 12 about a mile from Bryce. The rental process was easy and off we went! The bikes were Rad Power eBikes. They were “pedal assist” with 4 levels of assistance. They were remarkably easy to ride and most of all FUN! Just outside of Escalante UT there is a road that is 58 miles long that makes it’s way to the Northwest side of Lake Powell; Hole in the Rock. In 2014 Carol and I rafted 8 days and 277 miles of the Colorado River through the Grand Canyon. We fell in love with the Grand Canyon and the Southwest.
