While in Palm Springs we did a self driving tour at Palm Springs Windmill Tours. The tour starts at the Tour Center with exhibits and a video that showcase the history of the first Southern California wind farm established in 1982. Monument Valley Tribal Park!

Since we left Richmond August of 2020, we have been to Monument Valley or close to it several times. The tribal park has been closed for a year and a half due to Covid. Only just recently has the Navajo Nation opened up for tours! The drive up to Monument Valley from Camp Verde, AZ is about 3.5 hours. Yesterday we took a day trip to the South Rim of the Grand Canyon. As most of you know, this is one of our most loved destinations. Our 1st mission of the day was to wish all of our friends and family a Happy Thanksgiving. All kidding aside, Carol and I are so grateful for our good health, that we love/have one another and the opportunities that have come our way. On the road again! We left Richmond on Wednesday after a month and a half stay. Both of us were ready to head west to continue our adventures. Our first stop was just outside of Knoxville TN at Dumplings Farm and RV Park, a nice park in the country! The next day took us to Noccalula Falls Campground in Gadsden Alabama.
