This week we take you on our most challenging hike in Anza Borrego State Park, Alcoholic Pass! This is a 2-4 mile hike depending on how far you go with a 740’ elevation gain. A Beautiful Hike to a Palm Oasis!

This video take you to one of the most popular hikes in Anza-Borrego State Park. The trail terminates at a lush Native Palm Oasis with small waterfalls and beautiful pools in the middle of the desert.The hike is about 3 miles round trip with 2 stream crossings.  This is the 3rd largest native palm oasis in California!  In January of 2020 the grove burned and all that was left were tall charred trunks that resemble matchsticks!  But within a few months the palms recovered!  Nature at its best.  ENJOY THE VIDEO!We continue to enjoy our time in the desert and…
