Arches, Canyonlands, Dead Horse Point

The beauty of the last few days is unimaginable. We have made a base at Green River State Park. Thursday we spent at Arches NP, Canyonlands NP and Dead Horse Point SP. Arches is amazing and photos just can’t capture the vast size and colors of the landscape! We had high hopes to hike to “Delicate Arch” but it was so crowded, COVID-19 precaution won and we passed. Many of the Arches are named by the park service or others, but we created some pretty unique names “old lady in chaise lounge”, “turtles kissing” and some that I better not…

We have been off the grid for several days...no power, water or cell service (except occasionally when driving)! We have been exploring Monument Valley, Needles area of Canyonlands National Park and Natural Bridge National Monument.
