Before we left Moab we had one last stop, the Mill Canyon Fossil and Historical Area just 15 miles north. This area on BLM land has dinosaur bones imbedded in rock that was once an ocean. This week we travel 1,253 miles through Nevada, Idaho and Washington to the Canadian boarder! Our journey to Alaska has started! We stoped along the way at: Pahranagat National Wildlife Refuge Great Basin National Park Ely NV Holesinsky Vineyard and Winery Palouse Falls State Park Spokane Canadian Border Enjoy the Video! We are now in Canada and slowly rolling towards Alaska. We are taking our time and enjoying the journey! The “AlCan” Alaska Highway starts in Dawson Creek, BC…we should be there in a week or so! This week we’re taking you on 4 special adventures in Arizona: an amazing National Monument, a jeep ride in the beautiful red rocks of Sedona, one of our favorite campgrounds and kayaking on the Salt River in search of wild horses. 1.
