A Beautiful Hike to a Palm Oasis!

This video take you to one of the most popular hikes in Anza-Borrego State Park. The trail terminates at a lush Native Palm Oasis with small waterfalls and beautiful pools in the middle of the desert.The hike is about 3 miles round trip with 2 stream crossings.  This is the 3rd largest native palm oasis in California!  In January of 2020 the grove burned and all that was left were tall charred trunks that resemble matchsticks!  But within a few months the palms recovered!  Nature at its best.  ENJOY THE VIDEO!We continue to enjoy our time in the desert and…

Dinosaurs, Goblins, Mars & AirTags!

Before we left Moab we had one last stop, the Mill Canyon Fossil and Historical Area just 15 miles north. This area on BLM land has dinosaur bones imbedded in rock that was once an ocean. It was amazing to stroll along this area.Next we headed to Hanksville, where the AirTags come in!  To be explained in the video!Our next stop was Goblin Valley State Park. 1,253 Miles through Nevada, Idaho and Washington!

This week we travel 1,253 miles through Nevada, Idaho and Washington to the Canadian boarder! Our journey to Alaska has started! We stoped along the way at: Pahranagat National Wildlife Refuge Great Basin National Park Ely NV Holesinsky Vineyard and Winery Palouse Falls State Park Spokane Canadian Border Enjoy the Video!
