This video take you to one of the most popular hikes in Anza-Borrego State Park. The trail terminates at a lush Native Palm Oasis with small waterfalls and beautiful pools in the middle of the desert.The hike is about 3 miles round trip with 2 stream crossings. This is the 3rd largest native palm oasis in California! In January of 2020 the grove burned and all that was left were tall charred trunks that resemble matchsticks! Before we left Moab we had one last stop, the Mill Canyon Fossil and Historical Area just 15 miles north. This area on BLM land has dinosaur bones imbedded in rock that was once an ocean.
