Part One of Death Valley! We spent an adventure filled week in Death Valley!  Death Valley National Park is the largest national park in the lower 48.  Who knew there was so much to do and see!  Death Valley is so diverse with snow capped mountains, desert dunes, painted landscapes, waterfalls and many canyons! The first two days we had high winds with gusts up to 50 mph!  Due to the wind, we could barely see the mountains from the sand in the air! While in Palm Springs we did a self driving tour at Palm Springs Windmill Tours. The tour starts at the Tour Center with exhibits and a video that showcase the history of the first Southern California wind farm established in 1982.
