Part One of Death Valley! We spent an adventure filled week in Death Valley! Death Valley National Park is the largest national park in the lower 48. Who knew there was so much to do and see! While in Palm Springs we did a self driving tour at Palm Springs Windmill Tours. The tour starts at the Tour Center with exhibits and a video that showcase the history of the first Southern California wind farm established in 1982. So much fun…not enough time!We spent the day on the Durango & Silverton Narrow Gauge Train! The ride was so beautiful…the train went through the San Juan Mountains. The track ran along the Animas River and in many areas we were right on the edge of a rock cliff over the water,Once in Silverton we booked it to Thee Pitt’s Again, BBQ! Milestone: 11 Months on the Road! The adventure continues!When we left Heber City last Saturday, we spent the night in Twin Falls, Idaho at a Harvest Host Golf Course, Canyon Springs. Twin Falls is located on the Snake River that winds through a gorge right beside the town. Canyon Springs Golf Course is adjacent to the Snake River in the gorge.
