While on Vancouver Island we visited Botanical Beach in a very remote part of Vancouver Island. We hiked to the beach via the Botanical Beach Loop to the beach. The hike was through a rain forest type of area with lots of roots along the trail making it a bit tricky to navigate. Once at the beach we were so happy to see that the tide was still out and the magical tide pools were visible. We saw the most amazing ocean creatures and such brilliant colors. Our first week on Vancouver Island was filled with exciting adventures! We walked the city of Victoria and had a great time! Next we met Gary and Michelle (friends from Borrego Springs) for a fun packed weekend on their boat. We cruised to Tod Inlet and visited Butchart Gardens.
