We spent the entire day washing and waxing the Airstream. We wash the Airstream at least once a month but the chore of both washing and waxing is an all day affair! Chimney Rock Trail Adventure: Capitol Reef National Park

This week we hike to Chimney Rock in Capitol Reef National Park.Chimney Rock towers 300 feet above the highway. This is a 3.6 mile hike and is rated strenuous. This trail ascends on an easy grade for about a quarter of a mile then it climbs steep switchbacks. The views along the way are amazing! The trail continues to ascend on moderately steep grades until it reaches the top of the mesa where We enjoyed stunning views of Chimney Rock with snow capped mountains in the distance.Capitol Reef’s Waterpocket Fold is the defining geologic feature of this majestic national park.…
