Utah off road adventure

Yesterday was a true gift. Β We wanted to stay at Goosenecks State Park near Mexican Hat, UT but because there were no reservations, we never thought we would secure a site. We got here about noon and when we pulled up to the gate we saw sites empty on the cliff edge! Β The ranger gave us some excellent advice on scenic and challenging drives. Β The first one was a 3 mile dirt road to the top of a mesa! Β The caution signs stated 10% grade, NO RVs or Trailers….well we saw both as we climbed the 3 miles, CRAZY! Β We then drove 17 miles of the β€œValley of the Gods”. Β Pictures can’t explain the beauty. Β Last night the stars were amazing and the Milky Way was so clear. Β

Wow, looks awesome! So glad you both are getting to experience this. Question…is there anyway to enlarge these shots if they aren’t in the photo gallery? Just wanted to get the full effect in spite of my poor vision!
