We left Angel Fire, New Mexico expecting just another travel day… but Salida, Colorado had something completely different in store.
From the moment we pulled into the Salida RV Resort, this stop turned into one of those unforgettable travel experiences. We met Lisa and Steve, explored one of the most scenic disc golf courses we’ve ever played at the Heart of the Rockies Disc Golf Course, and drove one of the most stunning mountain roads in Colorado.
Then came Monarch Pass—and the unexpected adventure along Old Monarch Pass Road. This wasn’t just a stop…this was one of those moments that reminds us why we love traveling.
