Denali National Park: Hike, Bus and Plane for a Spectacular Adventure!

In this video we explore Denali National Park! We spent 4 days at Riley Campground inside the park, hiked the Savage River Trail, took a park tour of the fascinating dog sled rangers and went on a 5 hour Narrated Tundra Wilderness Tour with the park. We are officially in the 30% club of people that have seen the peak of Denali (formally known as Mt. McKinley). 1,253 Miles through Nevada, Idaho and Washington!

This week we travel 1,253 miles through Nevada, Idaho and Washington to the Canadian boarder! Our journey to Alaska has started! We stoped along the way at: Pahranagat National Wildlife Refuge Great Basin National Park Ely NV Holesinsky Vineyard and Winery Palouse Falls State Park Spokane Canadian Border Enjoy the Video! Badlands National Park & so much more!

We left Custer State Park and headed to Badlands National Park!  Wall DrugThis is a “fun” place to visit…everything from country western clothing to novelty items, food and an actual drug store! Leaving Canada, Rainbow Trout and hiking the Highline Trail!

After an adventure filled month in the Canadian Rockies we headed South to Kalispell MT. On the way we stopped in Ft. Steele overnight and the next day visited the Kootenay Fish Hatchery and saw some amazing rainbow trout.While in Kalispell we got up at 5am and drove into Glacier National Park to hike the Highline Trail.
