The mountains of Grand Teton National park are so inspiring.  This is a watercolor of one of our rides through the park.   Travel Update: We left the Grand Lake area on Monday and have been in Lakewood CO, west of Denver.  While here we visited one of my old friends from college years.  We were lifeguards together at Coonskin Park in Charleston WV during late 70’s. We have not seen one another for 40 years! Real friends are able to rekindle and refresh the friendship where it left off…so grateful for such a rich history and such special friends!…

We spent a morning in Arches National Park before we left Moab, UT.  We hiked to some arches but did not hike to Delicate Arch because of the heat and crowds.   You can see the Arch from a distance with a scope or binoculars.  Here is my rendition!

Today we took an online art class taught by an urban sketcher that we both like.  We were most definitely outside of our comfort zone because this artist is a bit more loose and whimsical than Carol and I.  The artist that taught the class is Ian Fennelly @ianfennelly Ian Fennelly organized through Studio56Ian’s style of sketching is self described as “Layers of Looking”.  Very different from how we have been creating pen and watercolors.
