We arrived at Lake Powell yesterday afternoon; the lake is so beautiful!While enjoying coffee this morning at Wahweap Campground, this watercolor is my interpretation of our view! Lake Powell is one of our favorite places.Tomorrow we are hiking Buckskin Gulch and on Wednesday kayaking the slot canyons of the lake. Standby for more!

I love drawing doors! Travel update: Monday we left Buffalo, stopped in NJ to pick up the Airstream and we are now back in Richmond loading the truck and airstream for our trip South. Saturday we will have our 2nd Covid shot in SC and then we will be heading to GA to meet friends for the week. We return to Richmond for one last time before heading West on the 31st!
The inspiration for this picture was in Big Bend Ranch State Park along the Rio Grande in Texas. This area was used as a set for movies several years ago.We had lunch at this location along the river.
